Second Annual Grape Creek Arts Festival in Westcliffe, Colorado in the Year 2026
Mustang Medicine, The Town of Westcliffe, Colorado Tourism, and our Artists Community welcome Artisans of Fine Art in holding true to the Traditions of Artwork, Hand-Crafted, in the Finest of traditional fare.
Follow the Traditional Scottish Highland Games and Celtic Festivals Across Colorado’s Finest High-Country Vistas of Gold and Celebrate 150 years of highland color, music and faire.
Finish the Tour with the Second Annual Celtic Mountain Highland Games and Grape Creek Arts Festival matching challenge with creativity and holding high esteem to authenticity in the age of AI and digital imagery.

SHOW DATE: October 3rd ~ 09:00am – 5:00pm
LOCATION: The Iconic Bluff Park, West End of Main St. in Westcliffe, Colorado
FEES: $50.00 for 10’x10’ tent space (tent not included) Artists must register and pay fee in advance of the day of the festival on-line at mustang.medicine.net/events/Grape Creek Arts No commission is taken. (fee is for one artist only, if shared tent, fee for each artist)
ELIGIBILITY: Open to Artisans of old and new. Artists are not required to jury into this show or to establish credentials.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: For awards acceptance and presentation, the following are required:
Two-dimensional ~ Original Oil, Pastel, Ink, Graphite, Watercolor or Stained Glass. Work must be within last two years and your own original subjects.
No illustrations or Photography. No AI Generated work. Prints of submitted originals may be offered for sale but not judged for awards.
Three-dimensional ~ Sculpture of bronze, wood or clay; pottery must be kiln fired, hand-blown glass. Work must have engraved signature.
Fiber arts ~ Two-dimensional images or textiles, hand stitched/sewn or weaved. No clothing or computer automated stitching will be awarded.
2026 Award per category is $500. All Awarding Artists must be present and willing to have image photographed for news release.
All 2-D artwork must be professionally framed with wires, or if canvas, canvas wrapped.
All artworks need to be labeled with the name of the piece, artist, medium and price.
Exhibiting artists need to sign release of liability and waiver in person before setting up on the festival grounds.
All tents, art exhibits and displays must be in place by 8:00 am before the opening presentation begins. Displays must remain in place until the end of the festival presentations at 5:00pm.
All tents, art exhibits and displays must be taken down and space cleaned before leaving the festival site on 10-4-2026

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
1. Comply with set footprints authorized by the Grape Creek Arts Festival Organizer and Town of Westcliffe including power stands, water piping and egress restrictions. Artists must not block egress of emergency personnel or create any hazard for participants, the public or the host property owner including the use of heat or fire ignition of any kind.
2. All Tents must be white-commercial grade and tied down to the ground to prevent disruption from winds or accidents and work must be secured to framework or panels. Follow required safety measures during setup, show and tear down while on municipal property.
3. The Artist accepts all risks associated with displaying their property in an outside festival event. Artists Tents must be tied down by Event Staff with supplied tie downs, no exceptions.
3. Adhere to municipal parking and traffic codes and ensure the safety of pedestrians on the park venue. (you will receive a map with parking and unloading instructions)
LIABILITY: Neither Mustang Medicine, Grape Creek Arts Festival nor the Town of Westcliffe accept any liability for loss or damage of artwork associated with this show and sale. Artists are solely responsible for artworks, hanging, installation and tear down of tents.
